“Travel” the globe to visit animals from all seven continents, join in a theater production, sharpen your drawing skills or follow the Zoo trails as dusk settles in. We have several new camps for you to choose from with both week-long full day and half-day experiences.

Campers will “travel” the globe to visit animals from each of the seven continents while participating in conservation activities that make a difference for animals and their habitats.

Participants will use improvisation and skits to learn the building blocks of theater and explore their relationship with the Earth and its inhabitants. Each family will receive 2 tickets to attend the culminating stage performance at the Zoo.
Week-long, Half-day $130 for members, $140 for non-members
You’ll use all of the Zoo’s animal residents to inspire you as you sharpen your skills in observing nature and learning the basic principles of simple illustration. Discover different media, such as pastels, watercolors and colored pencils.

Can you long jump further than a frog? Sprint faster than a zebra? Or lift more than a chimpanzee? We’ll compete as a team in an exciting animal-themed version of the Olympics.

Investigate a series of wildlife scenes to find out what happened and who did it! We’ll use a variety of clues and tools to get to the bottom of the story.
Evening, One Day $30 for members, $35 for non-members
Follow the Zoo trails as dusk settles in. Visiting animals in the cooler twilight hours shows activity missed during the day. The visit is complete with making s’mores and a special craft activity.
